Ms. McDermott is a project manager with more than 13 years of experience overseeing a broad range of regional and national accounts for EFI’s national network of offices. She has experience overseeing a variety of multi-disciplinary services for EFI’s engineering and environmental services lines including structural, mechanical & fire protection engineering; hazardous materials management/industrial hygiene services and environmental spill response and regulatory compliance. She provides superior customer service and responsiveness to clients by thoroughly understanding and addressing various project issues and needs. Ms. McDermott has particular expertise in the oversight of insurance claims for national carriers with adherence to detailed scopes of work and response requirement metrics.
Ms. McDermott’s project management experience includes coordination and staffing of personnel, vendors, and subcontractors on a per project basis, oversight of project schedules, supervision of personnel and subcontractors and catastrophe response team management. She analyzes, interprets, and reports on field data and laboratory results and reviews the work output of others to ensure quality control and assurance. She is always seeking opportunities to make processes more efficient and cost effective while still ensuring all work meets or exceeds client expectations, deadlines and contractual obligations.
