This class will provide the student with actual case studies of various types of mechanical losses, the investigation that was required to determine the root cause of the losses, and the findings of these investigations.  Areas covered include manufacturing machinery, elevators, buildings, HVAC, pumps, construction equipment and appliances.  Instruction is included on how to initiate an investigation when a loss occurs and how engineering experts assist in the investigation.
