Ms. Humber has over 34 years of experience in asbestos, lead paint and indoor air quality (IAQ) consulting, including surveying/inspecting facilities, sampling materials, assessing conditions and recommending abatement/remediation actions, designing abatement/remediation activities, project management during abatement and construction, and design and implementation of asbestos and lead operations and maintenance programs. She has conducted and managed "due diligence" surveys, environmental site assessments (Phase I and Phase II), and subsurface testing (soil and groundwater) as well as mitigation efforts.
Current project experience includes significant ongoing asbestos and mold remediation projects with unique demands, such as abatement of occupied hospitals, public schools and colleges, including coordination of activities between property owners, facility management and the general contractor. Ms. Humber also has experience with imported drywall (“Chinese”) assessments and the associated corrosion issues, as well as Legionella testing and mitigation.
