Wesley Heath Smith began his career as a firefighter/EMT. In this position he was responsible for fire suppression and medical response efforts. In 2007 he began his career in fire investigation as an Assistant Fire Marshal responsible for fire code enforcement, public education, and fire investigation in the city of Gadsden, Alabama. He continued his education through attendance at Columbia Southern University and graduating with a 4.0 GPA from their MBA program. Wesley in addition to his post graduate education has achieved the Certified Fire Investigator distinction with the International Association of Arson Investigators along with Fire Inspector II designation through the International Code Council. Currently he provides guidance to other fire investigators in the South District of EFI Global to include technical review of expert reports.
