Scott McDonald as over 30 years of firefighting and law enforcement experience. He currently holds the position of Fire Investigator with EFI Global and is based out of Northern California. He has over 500 hours of training specific to fire origin and cause investigation. He is certified as a California State Fire Marshal Level II Fire Investigator. He is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), the California Conference of Arson Investigators (CCAI) and the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI). Mr. McDonald is recognized by the California chapter of the IAAI as a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) and NAFI as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI). During the course of Mr. McDonald’s career, he has investigated over 500 structure, vehicle, marine and wildland fires. Mr. McDonald has qualified as an expert witness in the San Joaquin County Superior Court.
