Throughout seven years of industry experience, Mr. Skeath has implemented and supervised a range of environmental field services relating to soil, air, and water quality investigations, with additional experience in environmental compliance and technical writing. He has served as the primary field consultant for numerous long-term projects managing, assessing, and remediating various environmental issues including abandoned oil lines, underground storage tanks, hazardous materials storage and dumping, asbestos-containing pipes, and petroleum- and metals- impacted soils.
Mr. Skeath has frequently worked alongside the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Toxic Substances Control, Port of Los Angeles, Waste Management, numerous contractors, laboratories, and regulatory agencies to implement environmental assessments, soils remediation, and compliance.
His areas of expertise include:
- Soils waste management and remedial excavation oversight
- AQMD Rule 1166 monitoring of VOC impacted soils
- UST removal
- Soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling
- Lithologic logging
Mr. Skeath currently serves as an Environmental Scientist in the Southern California District Site Assessment and Remediation department.
