Mr. Covington currently serves as an Environmental Advisor for the EFI Global Denver, Colorado office with more than five years of environmental consulting and regulatory compliance experience. Mr. Covington has experience performing and managing project services (including proposal preparation, financial and risk evaluations) related to Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II Site Investigations, vapor mitigation assessments, materials management, environmental and construction excavation oversight, soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling, soil logging and classification, operations and maintenance of various environmental remediation systems, proper field documentation, and all associated reporting. Mr. Covington also has experience with various local, state, and federal environmental supervisory agencies concerning matters of environmental laws and regulations.
In addition to his assessment and remediation responsibilities, Mr. Covington is also a Certified Asbestos Building Inspector (CABI) in the state of Colorado and assists with a variety of different industrial health projects. Primary responsibilities include combustion byproducts sampling, asbestos containing material (ACM) sampling, moisture mapping, and all associated reporting.
