Mr. Knipstein is a Senior Engineer working in the field of structural engineering since 2011. As a bridge engineer, he has assessed and measured deteriorations on bridges all over the state of Oklahoma and produced plans which recommended repairs necessary to restore aesthetics and strength. Mr. Knipstein’s design experience was focused on bridge design and rehabilitation in central and northeast Oklahoma working for both state and municipal entities. He also has experience designing steel, concrete, and timber structures. Mr. Knipstein’s areas of design expertise include:

• Evaluation and rehabilitation of structurally deficient bridges
• Design of bridge piers, abutments, and superstructures constructed of concrete beams, rolled steel beams, and plate girders.
• Design of reinforced concrete box culverts
• Design of steel and concrete structures.

Mr. Knipstein’s forensic experience includes the assessment of damage related to:

• Evaluation of metal, wood, composition, tile, and membrane roofing for storm damage.
• Evaluation of foundations for damage from earthquakes, tornadoes, flooding, plumbing leaks, and soil movement.
• Evaluation of structural damage from earthquakes, tornadoes, and vehicular impacts.
• Evaluation of water intrusion from storm damage, freeze damage, envelope deterioration, and groundwater penetration.
