Pandemic aftermath: Did we disinfect our way into a new crisis?

For most of us, the COVID-19 pandemic was the first time we paid attention to what the coronavirus is — SARS CoV-2 — and the recommended safety precautions. Overnight, the concept of disinfection received a great deal of attention. Most everyone began researching proper disinfecting and sanitizing methods in hopes of ridding their environment of the virus. While some businesses were able to send employees home and continue to function despite the new challenges, others had to quickly adapt to a reality that revolved around cleanliness — effectively allowing their businesses to continue operating with measured risk.
