Mr. Stephens has 42 years of experience in the fire service. He has experience in fire and explosion investigations to determine the origin and cause. Mr. Stephens project experience includes managing and investigating more than 5000 fire and explosion scenes across Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. These have included criminal arson investigations and have involved single and multi-family complexes, multi-million-dollar losses and those with multiple fatalities and serious bodily injury. Mr. Stephens has testified as an expert witness in Louisiana state and federal court involving arson and other criminal matters along with deposition in civil matters.
