Mr. Haley is a Fire Investigator and has been a member of the fire service since 1997. He serves with the Belmont, MA Fire Department, currently holding the rank of captain. His current roles are Shift Commander and Fire Investigator.

In addition to fire investigation, Mr. Haley has been a Massachusetts Master Oil Burner Technician since 1990. He is an expert in HVAC systems and controls. He has extensive knowledge of fire codes and code enforcement.

Mr. Haley has investigated hundreds of fires involving commercial and residential buildings as well as automobiles and locomotives. He has been a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators and the National Association of Fire Investigators since 2003. He is certified by both organizations.
