Simmie Westbrook has over 20 years of experience in the fire service and insurance industry where she has conducted in excess of 2000 fire origin and cause investigations.  She has experience as a Lead Fire investigator, advanced peace officer, master fire inspector, emergency management technician, and insurance industry claims specialist.  Mrs. Westbrook has extensive training in fire origin and cause determination, arson investigations, scene management, evidence management, and fraud investigations.  Mrs. Westbrook is a Certified Fire/Explosion/Vehicle Investigator with the National Association of Fire Investigators, and a Master Inspector with Texas Commission on Fire Protection.

Mrs. Westbrook worked in Public Safety not only as an Arson Investigator, but also as a Section Chief of Fire Prevention Education and Inspection where she managed and lead multiple teams of Fire Prevention Officers responsible for the inspection, compliance and testing of life safety systems in new and existing construction projects, hazardous material locations, municipal airports, and high-rise healthcare facilities in the City of Dallas.
