Mr. Proctor has 30 years of combined experience in the fire service and insurance industry where he has conducted in excess of 2500 fire & explosion investigations and has testified as an expert in civil and criminal proceedings. He has experience as a Fire Investigation Unit Commander, an Accelerant K9-Handler, an ATF Task Force Officer, an Insurance SIU Investigator, an Insurance Fire Unit Lead Fire Investigator, a Fire Inspector, a Firefighter, and a licensed Private Investigator. Mr. Proctor has extensive training in fire & explosives origin and cause determination, arson investigations, complex scene management, evidence collection & management and both fraud & subrogation investigations.
In addition, Mr. Proctor holds the designation of Certified Forensic Locksmith and is Certified in Automotive and General Forensic Locksmithing. Mr. Proctor conducts post-theft evaluations & key analysis where lock assemblies, keys, transponders and ignition systems are analyzed to determine whether locks or ignitions were bypassed or if keys were duplicated.
Mr. Proctor currently holds certifications with the International Association of Arson Investigators as a Certified Fire Investigator, with a Motor Vehicle Fire Credential Endorsement, and a Certified Evidence Collection Technician. Current certification with the National Association of Fire Investigators as a Certified Fire & Explosives Investigator and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator. Current certification with the Professional Locksmiths of America as a Certified Forensic Locksmith and a Certified Automotive and General Forensic Locksmith.
