Ms. Espinosa has six years of experience as a volunteer firefighter with expertise in training, inspection, and testing of water-based fire protection systems, rescue, comprehensive management of fires and emergencies with hazardous materials, and first aid and life support and was the co-coordinator of the HazMat response group and member of the aquatic rescue group. Ms. Espinosa holds a master’s degree in Disaster Risk Management and Climate Governance. Ms. Espinosa is a registered Professional Engineer in Colombia and a Fire Investigation Technician (FIT) certified by the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI).

Ms. Espinosa started with EFI Global in 2022; her responsibilities include conducting detailed fire scene analyses to determine the causes, origin, and spread of fires, collecting and preserving physical and photographic evidence for subsequent analysis, achieved through scientific techniques and specialized tools to study combustion patterns and materials involved in fires. Preparing detailed technical reports documenting the findings and conclusions of fire investigations.
