Diane Spinner is a Fire Investigator with EFI Global and is based in South Florida. Mrs. Spinner has been involved in the Fire Service/Investigations and Law Enforcement for the past 22 years. As a member of the Palm Beach County Arson/Bomb unit and past Secretary/Treasurer of the IAAI, Florida Chapter, she worked in the Investigative Division performing investigations of fires and was responsible for the juvenile fire setters’ program. Prior to being assigned to the Arson/Bomb squad, she was a Deputy Sheriff assigned to road patrol duties. She has over 600 hours of training specific to fire origin and cause investigation including classes from the National Fire Academy, Criminal Justice Training Institute and Michigan State Police, is a certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, a certified Marine Investigator through the International Association of Marine Investigators and is a certified Fire and Explosion Investigator. In addition, Mrs. Spinner has conducted over 4000 investigations in her career, including qualifying as an expert witness in arson related judicial proceedings.
