Professional Summary
Mr. Hillner has more than 25 years of experience in structural/civil engineering. The first 12 years of his career were spent working for consulting firms and architectural firms in structural design, primarily of commercial buildings and educational facilities. Since 2011, his primary focus has been in forensic engineering, including the analyses of existing commercial and residential structures and the foundation systems that support them. Such investigations have involved soil-structure interaction, evaluation of building envelopes, and the cause, origin, and extent of peril damage such as that from hail, wind, earthquakes, tornadoes, explosions, fire, and vehicle collisions.
