Daniel Gwinn has over 30 years in the Fire and Public Safety field. He spent most of his time in the public housing sector investigating fires and resolving losses. Mr. Gwinn established prevention programs for that reduced losses by 90 percent, including a multi-agency Youth Fire Setter Intervention program which served over 300 students. During his time in the fire service industry he has held various leadership and investigations positions in Southside Fire Protection Agency and Columbia County Fire Rescue. He has gained additional experience during a contract deployment to the Middle East where he served as the Fire Investigator for the U.S. Army Central Command. Daniel holds a BA in Psychology from the Citadel and a MA in Public Administration from Augusta State University. He is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators. He presently is employed out of the Columbus, Georgia Office.
