Corey Leber has over 12 years’ experience in fire/explosion investigations, firefighting, and emergency medical services. For the last 12 years he has assisted or led in over 700 fire/explosion investigations. As a lead investigator he has investigated residential, commercial, and industrial structures, and has investigated numerous motor vehicles. Corey Leber is also a fire investigation’s instructor. He has also interacted with local, state and federal agencies which include the Chicago Fire Department’s Office of Fire Investigations (OFI), the Illinois State Fire Marshal – Arson Division, and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (BATF). Prior to becoming a fire investigator Corey Leber had extensive experience in firefighting, building construction and code enforcement. He also has knowledge with insurance policies and identification of potential subrogation. Corey Leber has also been a licensed paramedic for 16 years.
