Mr. Sattler has over eighteen years of experience in engineering design and analysis of existing structures. For the last fourteen years, Mr. Sattler has been preforming structural forensic
services for residential and commercial structures including soil-structure interactions, the performance of structural systems, evaluations of building envelopes, and determination of
cause, origin, and extent of peril damage. Structural system assessments include damage investigations related to current or latent design and construction defects. Building envelope
assessments include damage investigations related to roof coverings, veneers, flashing, and weather resistive barriers. Peril assessments include damage investigations relating to
earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados, hailstorms, lightning strikes, explosions, fire, and vehicle structure collisions.
In addition, Mr. Sattler has experience including structural design, civil land development, and construction project management. Structural design experience includes large, custom
residential and light commercial structure foundation and framing, as well as ancillary structures including retaining walls and swimming pools. Civil land development design experience includes drainage channels, closed storm systems, grading, paving plan and profiles, public utility plan and profiles, and erosion control for residential development, light commercial development, and roadway projects.
