Michael Hoffman, MSc, IAAI-CFI

Mr. Hoffman has over 19 years of experience specializing in fire investigations. He is a graduate of Clemson University in Biological Sciences and has a Master’s Degree from Marshall University in Forensic Sciences. Mr. Hoffman has extensive  experience  assisting  clients  with  complex  subrogation  claims  and  liability  defense claims to establish the origin and causes of fires in structures, vehicles, and watercraft. He is an IAAI Certified Fire Investigator, NAFI Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, and NAFI Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator.

Mr. Hoffman has extensive leadership experience as former District Manager for EFI Global’s Florida District and Sr. Principal for EFI’s Fire Sciences Group. His responsibilities included budgeting, scheduling, quality control, training, recruiting and day-to-day oversight of his respective teams. Mr. Hoffman also provides management oversight of EFI’s forensic laboratories.
