Dr. Wang is a forensic consultant with three years of combined experience related to the evaluation of existing structures and the design of new structures. Her experience centers on structural design and analysis, advanced finite element modeling to failure analysis, and renovation/retrofit design of reinforced concrete and steel buildings. She has experience in forensic engineering experience including investigation on design and construction defects, structural failures/collapses, as well as building envelope failures.
Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on fracture mechanics and material science. Her forensic engineering project types include failure investigations of a wide variety of high-rise commercial and residential buildings, education facilities, parking garages, office buildings, and bridges. She is an active technical committee member of the ASCE Forensic Engineering Division. She is a registered Professional Engineer in the States of Texas and Nevada.
