Mr. Cheruku is a structural engineer with five years of professional experience that includes evaluation of existing facilities, failure and collapse investigations, design and construction administration of retrofit designs. Mr. Cheruku has experience working with various structures including but not limited to bridges, pedestrian bridges, buildings, utility-scale solar power plants, warehouses, wastewater treatment plants, berthing docks, petrochemical facilities, refineries and coke-processing plants and skyscrapers.
Mr. Cheruku’s worked on various technical issues ranging for corrosion of steel in concrete, wind-induced structural vibration, fatigue cracking, structural instability and construction bracing, code evaluations, OSHA violations and collapse of temporary equipment. Further, he has extensive expertise for advanced computational modeling and analysis. The analysis included finite element methods for stress analysis and computational fluid dynamics for wind flow and vibration analysis.
