Mr. Anderson has over 40 years of experience in facilities related work including HVAC, environmental, hazardous materials, indoor air quality and property condition assessments. He has performed numerous investigations/evaluations related to commercial, educational (K-12 and universities), hotels, institutional and high-rise/multi-family residential facilities. He has provided consulting design, contractor selection and construction oversight for similar facilities for repairs or remediation. Mr. Anderson has also provided emergency response consulting for major flood and storm-damaged facilities including onsite evaluations, testing, design team coordination, remediation design, contractor selection and management and construction oversight.
Mr. Anderson has decades of asbestos and indoor air consulting and management experience for both public and private clients. His responsibilities haved included overseeing the preparation of asbestos abatement plans and specifications and providing project management for abatement remediation projects. He has also performed several asbestos surveys, including exposure assessments and recommendations. Mr. Anderson also specializes in indoor air quality and is identified as a mechanical (HVAC) specialist for this work. These studies have included evaluating occupant complaints, sampling indicators of indoor air quality (mold/bacteria, comfort parameters, VOC’s and other chemical contaminants), reviewing the operation and maintenance of the mechanical systems and developing generalized recommendations for improving indoor air quality. He has performed remediation consulting services for remediation projects correcting indoor air quality deficiencies (including mold and flooding damage). These remediation consulting services include, work procedures/scope of work development, contractor slection and bidding, project management and construction management.
Mr. Anderson is also the national catastrophe response manager for environmental services for EFI. These services involve response to major weather events (hurricanes, flooding, tornadoes) as they relate to issues for asbestos mold, and environmental contamination. Mr. Anderson is responsible for determining scope of services, coordinating and allocating of the company resources in response to these weather events.
