  • Professional summary

    Mr. Cole graduated from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) in December of 2015, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Fire, Arson, & Explosion Investigation. During his time at EKU, Matthew was employed by the University as an assistant in their Fire Research Lab where he was responsible for the development and completion of scientific fire research experiments. This included the construction of several live fire research cells as well the construction of several electrical principle demonstration labs now used by the university.

    Mr. Cole is also a graduate of the Central Kentucky Technical College of Lexington, Kentucky (now Bluegrass Community and Technical) where he studied to become an apprentice electrician and was a licensed electrician in the state of Kentucky.

    After college Mr. Cole spent two years in Unified Investigations apprenticeship program working as a Fire & Evidence Technician working alongside established company fire investigators until being promoted to the position of Fire Investigator in April 2018
