Mr. Zaldivar is a licensed professional engineer with over 33 years of experience in mechanical engineering. His experience includes providing plumbing, and mechanical (HVAC) engineering design services, project management and construction management for wastewater, private development, airport, residential construction, water utilities, commercial, industrial and municipal projects. Mr. Zaldivar has been the Engineer of Record for numerous projects during his 30 year of service with the City of Los Angeles. These projects included office buildings, industrial facilities, site utilities, fire and police stations and repair facilities for liquefied or compressed natural gas vehicles. Mr. Zaldivar has operated a consulting engineering practice which provides mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design services for nearly two decades. His clients included architects, home owners, contractors and business owners. The projects include high end residential, restaurants, medical office buildings, hotels, commercial office buildings and high rise condominiums. The scope of work on these projects included energy modeling for code compliance, construction documents, obtaining plan check and permits from the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and construction inspection and administration. Mr. Zaldivar has many years of experience in preparing and submitting plans and obtaining permitted plans from city and county building officials and the Office of Statewide Health, Planning and Development (OSHPOD). Mr. Zaldivar has served as Forensic Engineer for Donan Engineering, LLC in which he conducted investigations on auto, residential and commercial claims. Mr. Zaldivar currently is the Mechanical Forensic Engineer for the Southern California Region of EFI Global, Inc. He conducts mechanical related investigations on auto, residential and commercial claims.
