  • Professional summary

    Dr. Kinali is a Principal Structural Engineer in the Large/Complex Loss Group of EFI with advanced degrees and 15 years of progressive engineering experience. He is a published author in the area of seismic vulnerability and fragility assessment of structures. He has published a book on Seismic Fragility of Steel Buildings. Dr. Kinali has managed teams of engineers for the execution of large, multi-discipline infrastructure projects in the nuclear power industry.

    He designed/analyzed/qualified numerous structures at multiple US Nuclear Plants. He has been consistently recognized for technical accuracy and attention to detail by his peers and directors. He has reviewed and approved client submittals and vendor submittals. He is recognized as an SME for seismic qualification of existing plant equipment at US Nuclear Plants.

    Prior to working in heavy industrial/nuclear power industries, Dr. Kinali has worked as a structural engineer at a prominent structural design firm where he designed reinforced concrete high-rise structures, prepared calculations and drawings.
