Mr. Pokorny has more than 30 years of experience in professional consulting services addressing environmental, engineering and construction management services. Responsibilities include the overall management of EFI’s North Region of offices, and the U. S. Environmental practice for EFI. His duties include strategic planning, forecasting, recruiting, business development, and employee developmentThis includes establishing and executing growth opportunities based upon geographic- and service-based initiatives within the firm. He has a B.S. in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Toxicology and currently serves as EFI’s Team Leader of its Covid-19 Task Force coordinating with Corporate Health & Safety for EFI’s services, health & safety processes internally and externally assisting our client base.
Mr. Pokorny is experienced in the environmental and professional services consulting industry with considerable team management experience. He has experience in a wide variety of projects including retail/commercial hazardous materials management and remediation programs, national insurance claims programs, public and municipal environmental remediation and hazardous materials management programs, and university and hospital settings. Specializing in large project coordination, he assists clients in implementing construction-related capital improvement programs and integrating engineering solutions into our client’s environmental projects. Additionally, Mr. Pokorny oversees EFI’s Emergency Spill Response Program mobilizing EFI’s response teams and clean-up activities for fuel, HAZMAT and cargo related transportation losses.
Mr. Pokorny oversees EFI’s internal Covid 19 Task Force to address the Covid19 Pandemic for EFI internal employee field procedures and best practices and services to our Clients. The task force developed EFI’s Disinfection Protocol procedures, Surface Testing Protocols, Back to Business best practices and other services related to Industrial Hygiene and Infection Control.
