  • Professional summary

Jessie performs environmental engineering analysis for clients in industries involving Real Estate, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Legal issues. She provides Project Management, Process Engineering, Site Remediation, Customer Relations, Environmental Monitoring, Treatment System Design, Utility Operations, Construction Oversight, and Technical Documentation services to her clients. Many of her projects involve air and water analysis and construction planning and defects investigations.

As a Project Manager, Jessie has worked with Industrial Clients and Municipal Clients to provide water treatment solutions. She conducted Data Analysis and Site Investigations for implementing wastewater treatment improvements, risk assessments, and site redevelopment. Jessie has managed all aspects of projects including cost control, schedule, invoicing, client relations, contractor coordination, quality control, materials tracking and documentation. Jessie managed large environmental remediation projects to include operation and maintenance of remedial systems, pilot testing In-Situ Remedial Compounds for removing metals and chlorinated solvents, and regulatory compliance with Post-Closure Licenses.

She has designed groundwater remediation systems and landfill structures, wastewater treatment systems for dewatering, recovery, and stabilization. She has provided quarterly groundwater monitoring activities and reporting for Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) sites. She has conducted wastewater treatment bench-scale treatability testing, pilot studies, and provided contractor oversight for full-scale treatment system construction. Jessie has provided construction oversight for landfill operations, zero-valent iron wall installation, earthwork including trenching (bio-polymer slurry method), excavation of contaminated soils, and final grading. She has performed field work including confirmation soil sampling, landfill earth-cap quality control testing, soil testing with nuclear density gauge, punch list preparation, and final approvals.

In her previous role as a Process Engineer for equipment manufacturers, Jessie has provided technical expertise for wastewater treatment system design, construction, operation and maintenance. She delivered process engineering support for wastewater treatment plants with attached growth biofilm technology including proposals, cost estimates, operating strategies, and troubleshooting guides. She has conducted Research and Development for biological process equipment, led value-based product development teams, and completed voice of the customer interviews. She has conducted trade show presentations and participated in technical programs for biological wastewater treatment design and equipment selection. She has composed Operational Descriptions and Functional Design Specifications for the extended aeration treatment systems - sequencing batch reactors (SBRs). She has conducted operator training and assisted in mechanical/electrical startups for wastewater treatment systems. She managed a tertiary filtration product line and provided design support for engineering pre-packaged treatment systems utilizing membrane technology for potable water and wastewater reuse. Jessie taught process training seminars for the operation of wastewater treatment plants.

For an Environmental Software Company, Jessie managed software implementation including database creation, data entry, and system setup. She trained water and wastewater operators on software functions and data management. She created customized reports for customers to include wastewater Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs), drinking water Monthly Operation Reports (MORs) and other Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Reports to include Chlorine Residual Reports, Sludge Reports, and Pumpage Reports. She created wastewater sample schedules per the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit requirements and drinking water sample schedules per the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) requirements. She obtained customer feedback to improve the software product an created feature requests to implement to make the software more user-friendly and efficient.
