Mr. Shelton is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple jurisdictions throughout the United States. He has experience in forensic, structural, construction, civil, and geotechnical engineering for a broad range of project types in the State of Florida and beyond. Mr. Shelton has served as an expert witness on multiple files. Mr. Shelton also has experience in geotechnical investigation and structural evaluations for ground subsidence studies throughout Florida.
Mr. Shelton’s project experience includes providing forensic structural consultant services for the evaluation and remediation of existing structures subjected to high winds and other weather events, vehicle and tree impacts, construction defects, and ground subsidence. Mr. Shelton also has experience in building code compliance, material/workmanship deficiencies, cause and origin evaluations, roof evaluations, trip and fall evaluations, and quality control inspections. Mr. Shelton serves on EFI’s CAT response team.
