Jamie Smith has over 4 years of structural engineering design experience primarily for the industrial sector. This includes the design of new construction, structural condition assessment of existing
facilities, and the design of repair and reinforcement options for damaged structural components. Design specialties include steel construction and steel connection design, as well as concrete
rehabilitation. At industrial facilities, Jamie has designed structural components as small as personal fall arrest tie off anchorage and worker access mezzanines, and as large as 50-foot-long
steel roof- supporting trusses. During his time with EFI, Jamie has generated forensic reports and repair plans for commercial and residential losses resulting from vehicular impacts, fire, and building maintenance issues.
