Mr. Rylander is a retired, disabled Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a non-commissioned officer and is a graduate of the Joint Services Military Police Investigators School, holds 20+ years of experience in numerous areas of public safety, and has served at the local, county, state, and federal levels of government before entering the private sector.
Mr. Rylander is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators, Fire Investigation and Evidence Collection Technician through the International Association of Arson Investigators and meets the National Fire Protection Agency – Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigators (NPFA 1033). He has performed origin and cause investigations, managed subrogation and liability claims independently and as part of joint exam teams of residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural structures, along with automotive and heavy equipment.
He has conducted witness and client interviews, scene processing, evidence documentation, collection, and preservation, and served as the Chief Evidence Custodian at two federal military installations. Mr. Rylander has an Associates in Applied Sciences degree in Technical Management and Certificate in Quality Improvement. He is currently enrolled as a fulltime student at Eastern Kentucky University, and is a senior in their Bachelor of Science, Fire Arson and Explosion Investigation program.
