Ms. Whitsett has more than 20 years of Environmental Industry experience, specifically in conducting and reviewing Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments of multi-family residential, commercial and industrial properties within the New York Tri-State area for a wide range of financial clients, attorneys and real estate companies. In addition, Ms. Whitsett has worked in a supervisor role as an environmental professional overseeing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments on such properties throughout the United States. Assessments included limited and comprehensive surveys for asbestos, lead-based paint, lead-in-drinking water and radon gas emissions. She was responsible for review of final reports and QA/QC. Ms. Whitsett has also performed peer reviews on Phase I Environmental site assessments completed by other environmental firms.
In addition, Ms. Whitsett has five (5) years of experience conducting and managing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Land Use Screenings for various telecommunications companies within New Jersey and New York. Such projects included wetland permitting, endangered species mitigations and continuous interaction with the New York and New Jersey State Historic Preservation Offices, the New York Department of Environmental Conservation and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
She also has worked on the management of, including obtaining proper permitting, underground storage tank installations, monitoring and removals. She has also managed subsurface investigations to determine the presence of contamination in soil and groundwater, prepared and reviewed written reports in formats preferred by respective state regulatory agencies.
